    [2001 - 20XX]
[Alpha Vanilla to Released Cataclysm to the next "Unconfirmed Expansion"]

Well, Since i haven't seen a discussion about this here yet. Might as well be the first, i suppose. Please, keep it Friendly, Folks!

First, World of Warcraft went into Alpha/Beta in about 2004. During this phase, A LOT of people got worked up about this and were extremely excited for the release, and the run to wal-mart, best buy, or whatever to buy it. Tons of people quickly found interest in this game as soon as it hit the shelves. I'd say everyone was fairly happy and really enjoyed the game. 2006 comes around, and The Burning Crusade pours into action with a Beta/Alpha. Along with the release of information regarding in Dungeons, Raids, Level Cap, New playable characters, new items, etc etc. 2007, The Burning Crusade hits the shelves and Blizzard has done it again, Winning additional players for their game. 2008, Wrath of The Lich King is released into Alpha/Beta, once more, New information of Dungeons, Raids, Level Cap, new Hero Class, Items, blah blah blah. Everyone is excited for the new Expansion, most importantly, the Hero Class which was never introduced with The Burning Crusade. It's all the talk, along with the Level Cap moved up. It hits the shelves, more people buy it. Blizzard Profits, everyones happy. Finally, in 2009 Cataclysm was announced, returning with Cataclysm in 2010 was the Alpha/Beta. New Items, Dungeons, Raids, etc same stuff as last time. One huge change tho, Azeroth completely destroyed from Deathwing, opening of some Zones never played in before also. As it hits the shelves, Everyone rushes for it. Except for me.

I'm understanding that Blizzard is just trying to push on with Warcraft's story, and obviously continue their company. But, World of Warcraft just seemed to lose its taste. New races and Hero Classes, cool. New content, also cool. Completely screwing up the game by Deathwing? Cool, but also very, very disappointing. But i don't want this to become a huge argument of, "Forget the Lore, It's the game." or "Forget the games, WoW destroyed the Lore". I'm not interested in that. This new expansion, maybe not even the "next" expansion, but as i recall there was some talk about it, which was The Mists of Pandaria, The confirming will probably be released Tomorrow, at BlizzCon. So, with that being said. We'll be getting a new Race, exactly in The Burning Crusade, and probably(most definitely) new Classes FOR the new race, exactly like Wrath of The Lich King, but without the new race. Alliance and Horde get Pandas, but Different Tribes of the Pandas... Has Blizzard lost their touch of a interesting, fun, friendly, strategic, idea-breaking content, new gameplay, advancing day-by-day kind of game? I do not see this game progressing in any way with Cataclysm, and to me, Blizzard needs to do something about it. I understand that it is very, very, very difficult to develop new ideas for a game and win peoples interests, but try to develop something new. Once you release more of the same content, you get easily bored with it.

SO, my question(s) and obviously the discussions are...

How do YOU think Blizzard is going to make a comeback FOR World of Warcraft?
Do you think Blizzard's Current and/or New Expansions are even "New"?
Will you continue to Support Blizzard, Even if they keep this "New Expansion, Same Content" stuff up?
How are you going to react to this "New" Expansion for World of Warcraft?
After World of Warcraft is done and over with, What do you think Warcraft will be like?
Do you think Blizzard's Development Ideas is lacking, Explain why?

[This is a Discussion, Not a flame-fest. Remember, Keep it friendly!]

Based on how they've been messing around with endgame flow and making everything connected (gearing in particular), I'd say M+ will be cemented as a more viable alternative to raiding, probably maintaining the spike in individual responsibility. Mythic raiders who aren't actually in the WF race will still complain about being forced at gunpoint to grind out mythics in between raids by blizzard. I can't see WQs dying, seeing as that's one of the handful of features they haven't axed in the next Shadowlands expansion. They'll probably evolve along the way, though I can't really say how.
