Register to remove this adAs you may all know, their are many, upon many guides on how to make a Private server, some are terrible, some are epic, This one is pretty good in my eyes.
We will be building on Windows 32bit.
Well we will first download a couple things first. Download the following
MYSQL:MySQL :: Select a Mirror
SQLYOG: http://www.webyog.com/downloads/SQLyog702.exe
ARCEMU with arcworld,arclogon and arcchar.sql:RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
.NET Framework 3.5: Download details: .NET Framework 3.5
Before you go any further please update your Windows with Windows update.
First we will install .NETFRAMEWORK 3.5 and SQLYOG They are pretty easy to install by yourself so im not going to go into explaining it and restart if you have to.
After your done installing you should install MYSQL
Click Next
Click Typical then Next
Click Install
When its finish this thing should pop up
Click Next till you get to here and click Finish
Now this should pop up
Tick Standard Configuration and Next
When you get here leave EVERYTHING at default and click Next
When you get here type in root and retype root for your password. You gotta remember this.CLick Next
When you get here you click Execute
untill you get
Your done with MYSQL *Give yourself a cookie*
=============================================
Open up SQLYOG-> Right click root@localhost and click create database. Make the following: arcworld, arclogon,arcchar.
arcworld,arclogon and arcchar.sql are ALL in Databasesql folder in your ArcEMU folder
Execute arcworld.sql to arcworld, arclogon.sql to arclogon and arcchar.sql to arcchar.
You execute them by right clicking the DB and clicking restore from SQL dump, find file, execute and wait.
Now start arcemu-world and arcemu-logonserver.exe. Set your realmlist to 127.0.0.1 Your account and password is TESTGM.
Now, you can login and enjoy your server! =)

Thx for the nice Guide, worked fine, but i have one problem.
When i lock in with TESTGM, i can create char(s), but they cant`t use any GM commands.
How can i get a Account with GM Rights, so i can use commands, to add items, level up and so on ...?

+Rep to you sir!
@ LeChuck In your db under accounts or w/e its called (cant remeber)
You should have a list of characters. Now there should be a row called type or sumthing along those lines and you can put az (admin) a(gm) etc. now when in game you should be able to type .commands that should bring up a list of available commands for you. hasbro screwed with all commands (assuming your using arcemu) Can change the commands to anything you like, need a little bit of C++ knowlege in doing so though.

I can tell you what i have done. I have downloaded all the programs needed. And done this :"Open up SQLYOG-> Right click root@localhost and click create database.
You execute them by right clicking the DB and clicking restore from SQL dump, find file, execute and wait."
