problem with authserver
Hi.
I have a problem. First i had the same issue as other ppl have had, with the ssleay32.dll file missing etc.
I copy/paste them into the core folder, but now when i try to launch authserver, the window just flashes on the screen for a nano-second and closes instantly.
Anyone know what the problem is and how i resolve it?
It doesnt give my any error, it just opens and closes instantly.
I also have another problem.
When i try to run monsterwow.exe i get
ERROR #134 (0x85100086) Fatal condition
Failed to open archive Data\art.MPQ. Missing or corrupted data.
What do i do?
When i tried to patch wow yesterday, i went from 3.3.5 and up, but it skiped 4.1.0 and went straight to 4.2 instead.
When i looked in the patchlist in the retail wow folder, it only has patches up to 4.0.0

is it possible to play with ver 4.2 and monster wow.exe ?
or do i have to patch all the way up to 4.1

okay got it .. but now its stuck on connected after all..
someone got a solution for that ? cant find anything >_<
checked realimlist and hostfile..

Hey there. I've seen this error twice in the thread but no answer for it. When starting authserver I get the error
"The ordinal 968 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll"
The only response i saw for this was a complete rebuild of the core. Although the post didn't specifically say it was to fix this problem. I have setup a few mangos servers and this is my first try with the trinity core. I am using windows xp, 32 bit and am willing to go through the rebuild if i have to. but want to ask this first.
will this work on xp or is it limited to vista/7? or would it be advisable to just set the server up on a win7 laptop and play from the xp machine?

Hello everyone! New here, and really impressed by all the work and knowledge that you guys just give away for free! Kudos.
Anyway, now that I've buttered you all up I wonder if i could get just one more freebie...
After watching various videos and reading every forum post I can find, I've got to the point where I've got the server running, but I can't seem to connect to it! (locally). It hangs on connecting for a while then I get disconnected from server.
I'm using monsterWow.exe version 4.0.6.13623, I've got LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;auth" in authserver.conf, and I've changed my realmlist.wtf to set realmlist 127.0.0.1
My auth/realmlist table had 127.0.0.1 and port 8085. I've tried changing the port number to 3306, but I still can't connect. I notice this table has 'gamebuild' as 13623, and wonder if I should change this value to 14545, as my client is patched all the way up to 4.2.2.14545
Is it the fact that my client is patched "too far" that's the problem? Would I need to "downgrade" it to 4.1.0 ?
As you can see I'm scrambling around in the dark, so any advice would be most welcome!
