I am RhoadsOfRock, and sort of new to this site. Been playing WoW since about 1/2 or 2/3 through TBC, and remember when the times were good and fun.
Anyway, been into the private server scene here and there... I'm pretty noobish however, and don't have much knowledge as far as compiling a server is concerned, let alone bug removal/fix.

So I've tried to stick with repacks. I can at least figure out how to get a repack working, some of the time. I've downloaded and gotten Arcemu to work for 2.4.3, 3.3.5a.... and Mangos Zero with 1.12.1. Anyway, main reason I came to this site, I found out Pegregon's Repack are on here..... along with Pedregon. I did notice though that they're quite a few years old, but any time I've asked anywhere else for help with any repack, I've been told to compile myself and fix things myself. Well, I'd love to. But don't have the know-how.

Anyway I registered to either contact Pedregon via PM or email (edit: technically I registered back in December, but I don't remember what for or why...), but can't send PM's unless my post count is 15 or higher. So decided to try sending an email, same deal but with 20 or more. On top of that, the thread where the release for Arcemu he posted, is locked. I don't have any major problems getting the repack to work or connected (I can do this VERY easily). Only found a couple bugs pertaining to mounts. Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal, when added to a character (and trying to use it), it doesn't do anything. Other mounts, such as Swift Zhevra, Horseman's Reins (from Hallow's End event), can't even be added, with an error message saying "Invalid Item", and when checking on Wowhead, those two items were added with patch 2.4.3.

Anyway, that's the basics of my WoW-ness (and the help I need). Not really sure what else should be put in an intro post. My name is Dan, I play WoW still on retail (however bored at the moment... on the realm Kul Tiras US), and when I don't play WoW, I trade off playing games on either the Wii or PS3 (recently played Donkey Kong Country Returns and Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Grand Theft Auto IV and Duke Nukem Forever on the PS3).

› See More: Well, decided to post something.
