How To Make MaNGOS Public - without Hamachi
Register to remove this adHello MMOPro,
Here I will post how to make Mangos Public Non Hamachi. It works for me.
Step 1: Creating DNS account
The first thing you need to do is make a DNS for your server. This will hide your server's IP address in a sub domain, for example, if my server's IP address was 32.453.65.56, I could make a DNS so that my server could be accessed through pandawow.exampledomain.com. You can skip this step if you want but it is not recommended, if you decide to skip it, your server will be located at your IP address.
Go to DynDNS and create an account. Then go here and choose a host name (this will be the address people use to get to your server) and click “Use auto detected IP address” in the IP address section, then click create host. I would also reccomend downloading the DynDNS Updater at https://www.dyndns.com/support/clients/
Step 2: Port Forward Ports
In this step we will forward the ports that Ascent uses so that it can be accessed from outside your local network. This step is only necessary if you have a router, if you don’t have one, skip this step.
If you do not know how to forward ports, go to this page and find your router, it will tell you there.
You need to forward these ports:
3036
3306
6112
6881
8050
8093
8129
8080
8085
3724
3727 (this is for voice chat, it is optional)
80 (this is for apache/your website)
On TCP.
Step 3: setting database
- Start mysql_start (located in xampp)and connect to your DB and go into table Realmd
- Now Go to Realmlist
- Name you can wrote whatever you want (it is the name of your realm)
- On adress wrote your host name you created in Step 1
- Save and exit
Step 4: setting realmlist.wtf
-Modify realmlist.wtf in your wow directory found here:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enGB\realmlist.wtf or
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf to:
set realmlist your host name
-Save and exit
(this realmlist need to have all players who want to play on your server)
Step 5
-start mysql_start (if its not started), start apache start in xampp folder
-start evoXrealmd and evoXworld located in Mangos folder
-If you're not using Darkrulerz' Evo-X core but use mangos, your EvoXrealmd is called Realmd and your EvoXworld is called Mangosd
-You are finished
-Now go and play your public server
(to you and other players see your site you and them need to wrote your host name into browser)
I've used Darkrulerz's *3.3.3 Repack* --- Based on Hellscream to create my server
Specialy thanks to Darkrulerz.

Register to remove this adIn the Realmd database, have the realmlist set to your PUBLIC IP, which can be found at What's My IP Address? Networking Tools & More. Then use your DynDNS as your realmlist.wtf! Others with use that to connect to.
Please work on your english, as it's hard to understand your question. And oh, wrong place to ask this question. You've been warned.
