hi, I have been running private server in home for my kids' friends in Canada and America. Thanks to "RRTN", a member from ACWEB. I have been using his repack since his first launch. Eventually he have stopped launching, not sure why... since then, my server also stopped. Now I am back again in 2010. Hoping to find a new repack in this forum for my private server. Hope senior members in here could guide me through. thanks..

I have downlaod the TRM's Mangos Repack (http://mmopro.net/forums/f155/%5Brelease%5D-trms-cthulhu-ftagn-dual-database-mangos-repack-3-3-5-12340-32-64-bit-4286/) but not sure how to install it.
I have install .net framework 4.0, navicat lite, visual C++, MySQL. as for the patch, i have updated to 335 (12340).
What's next? there wsn't any step by step way to run it.. can you help? :confused:

I believe it's almost the same as ArcEmu in terms of getting it setup. All you do is extract it to your "C" drive, enter the folder and find "Server". You should then find a few different folders, bats etc. Click MySQL.bat, should load MySQL up. Next, go into the "Core" folder (may be named differently) and edit the config to your needs. After that is done, you must then load up mangosd.exe and realmd.exe - should load up without any problems. Now, I believe with mangos you need to create your account via mangosd.exe program. type in "help" and should list your commands, look for Account Creation command. Make your account, set your rank. Load up Navicat or heidiSQL or whatever your database browsing software is. Not sure what the databases names are, but you're looking for the realm table I believe. You must change the realmlist in the DB to your server address. E.g. 127.0.0.1 OR your DYDNS address/ip etc.
