Are you using any custom items, that players may be wearing? If you're not (or in the event you are), try having the players delete their Cache folder. That usually fixed it for my players, however I can't guarantee that it will fix it for you.

Right..its cumulative updates...So..if you've already executed database updates ending with 0003, that means you would do 0004, seeing as there aren't any you would then simply do the MaNGOS files(the .dlls and realmd/mangosd) for your corresponding OS bit(Win32, or x64). Update 0005 is the same way..
EDIT: Side note, congrats TRM for your smexy orange name now:P, unless you've always had it...in which case..belated congrats :P

Yeah, it's always been a choice of which I wanted to display Donator or Contributer... I liked the Donator schmexy orange sparkles.
Its been a while so i cant really remeber but at start od 3.3.3a patch when you where like the only on to have a working repack didn't you have Legends? Or did you go even further i remember you thread having like 300 different pages of comment.

Patience dude..give him time he isn't gonna shoot out a small fix for something so minor, and then turn around and include it in an update, he can/and probably will, include it in his next update.

I'm going to have to say it won't be possible, though I'm sure I will be proven wrong. Only reason I say this is because its a completely different core from what was used for the Elder Repack, especially since, I presume you're using the one Thrylas had made. As well, it has different updates etc. Sent you a PM though.

ok the char db went in ok the realmd db is huge its version is 9539_01 with the creature_ai_sp in it and acid 3.0.3 so i dont think it will execute properly

Yeah, just use the other dbs from my newest repack and don't worry about the realmd, scriptdev2, or mangos from the Elder.

I have a question: i'm running now your 3.3.2a release, and it's running great. If i update to your 3.3.3 release, how can I transfer my existing characters from the 3.3.2a release to your 3.3.3 release? Is there a program to do so, or is there another way to do that?
I'm leveling my characters from lvl 1 now, and I would like to keep them in release 3.3.3, without to have them level up again.

hey TRM have a problem now the mangos exe would not boot it kept closing fast and left no db error so i started all over again executing sgls and now i can't get the char sql patch you gave me to execute sucessefully i can get your repack to
boot up ok with my account table from elder ok but cant get the char db into it.

Grandpa, go into the mangos.conf file, and change..where it says ytdb to mangos, that should fix it.
EDIT:

Should fix it. If it doesn't ensure you downloaded TRM's DBC/MAP download..

You should be able to transfer your characters database over, you just need to tell us what your characters_db_version is.

i fixed all that that you was talking about what i cant get the char db to do now is the update patch that TRM gave me keeps hanging up . i have 9611_01 and it stops at 9630_01 and wont go any farther it keeps saying finished unsucessfully This is the error( `guid` int(11) unsigned NOT NULL default '0' COMMENT 'Global Unique Identifier',

Could be the table already exists..though I wouldn't know for sure..I would say see if you can delete that table within the database..and see if it'll allow you to execute it..though that could simply cause more problems then it would solve..only thing I can suggest other then that is to wait til he replies I guess..

You should be able to transfer your characters database over, you just need to tell us what your characters_db_version is.
I did a .server info in my mangosd.exe window and it came up with this:

Can't find the character database version herein though, could you tell me please where to find that info?

Launch MySQL for the server, then open your database editing tool, be it NaviCat, SQLyog, etc. Then open the characters database, and one of the tables should say character_db_version, open that table, there should only be 1 column, with 1 field in it. Tell us the column's title. I.e for this repack it is..

i am having a problem with the realmd.exe and mangosd.exe files. I have searched the internet for a couple days trying to figure it out but i can't narrow the problem down. Every time i try to run those i keep getting a side-by-side configuration is incorrect error. Right now im on a ship with very limited resources and takes about 1 minute to load any webpage and very slow download speed and wont see land for a while. Surprised i actually downloaded all the stuff in your first post with a 2-20 kb/s download speed. I was trying to do a 2.4.3 server and that one worked fine but no one has discs for that so i tried making a 3.3.3a and keep getting this error with 1 other repack as well. I am currently using vista 32-bit and everything on the first page. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be nice.

I've seen this problem only once before, and it's always on a Vista machine; here's a quick guide on how to fix it (it's not a problem with the repack, it's a VC++ and Vista problem):
1. Download and Install Revo Uninstaller (http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstaller/3000-2096_4-10687648.html)
2. Load Revo and find and click the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistibutable and click Uninstall up at the top:

3. If it asked you to restart, do so.
4. Do the same thing with Visual C++ 2008 Redistibutables.
5. Restart
Note: If you are using AVG Antivirus, some have reported this problem is also linked; not sure how reliable the information is.
6. Download and Install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=32bc1bee-a3f9-4c13-9c99-220b62a191ee&displaylang=en)
7. Download and Install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9b2da534-3e03-4391-8a4d-074b9f2bc1bf&displaylang=en)
8. Restart your machine.
Try the server files again.

Hey man just like to start by saying i love this repack it's the best I've played (and I've played like 10 wotlk repacks and a few cata ones) but im wondering if you could help me... ever since i implemented the update pack i get an error from just mangosd.exe stating "priority find configuration file mangosd.conf"
realmd.exe is running fine and so is the mysqld.exe
ps i'm using 64 bit win7 which it worked on before i added the update stuff but now neither the 64-bit nor the 32-bit works.
