thank you much for the release. You say Pandaria & Draenor is fully spawned but I see them empty (as stock trinitycore); also most Cata places are empty. I hope to see them populated like many draenor repacks (can't copy creatures from them?)
edit - I copied creatures from a draenor database and now your repack is really nice ingame, but obviously I get a lot of errors in worldserver

So I don't know how to port forward (and I believe that my router can't, anyway) -- therefore, I am trying to use Hamachi so that my boyfriend can get onto my server and play with me. Unfortunately... It's not working out. At all.

Please do note that I don't necessarily have experience in this sort of stuff, so yes, I will need someone to baby me through it (provide screenshots if possible). I would like to avoid TeamViewer, but I am fully willing to add someone's Skype if they want to help me on a realtime basis.


Quick Notes:
Using Hamachi (with network set up), only us both are in the said network
Using HeidiSQL because NaviCAT does not like me

What I have done and tried thus far:
Opened the database in HeidiSQL and gone into Auth->Realmlist->Data tab and editted both the address and localhost address to the Hamachi IP
Opened the bnet and worldserver configs and editted the BindIP, Ra.IP, and SOAP.IP to the Hamachi IP
Boyfriend set his config.wtf as SET Portal = "Hamachi IP"

He could not connect at all, and I couldn't connect either.

Please let me know if there's something I'm missing or if you'd like to see the config files etc.

I have the sever up and running.
But i'm having a bit of trouble with the client
It seems to only want to connect to battlenet with the original exe.
But when i use the ones in the client folder , they fail. any help would be great.

There is a small issue in TrinityCore (known issue #17822) that the required experience for level 1 is set to 12,000 xp where it should be 400 xp. You can either use the .levelup command or fix it in the following way: Run the below query on the database. You can use for instance HeidiSQL for this.


INSERT INTO world.player_xp_for_level VALUES ('1', '400')

Afterwards, be sure to restart the worldserver if it was running.

ps. in general it looks like the required xp for each level if off by one level but let's fix that another time.

Hello, I'm brand new here but I appreciate the work you all have done to create this repack. I downloaded the MMOPro.org_715_Repack.zip file and upon expanding it, I see it only has the following files:

Data (folder)
connection_patcher.exe
bnetserver.key.pem
bnetserver.exe
bnetserver.conf
bnetserver.cert.pem

I don't see the other files that I seem to need according to the instructions. I originally opened the file in WinRAR and it only showed bnetserver.cert.pem. I tried 7zip and it showed the other files. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: It seems that the download fails (but still allows me to open the partial archive). I tried the download in Firefox and it failed, but allowed me to restart the download while keeping my progress. It looks like I got the whole thing this time. Unpacking now to see if I did.

Edit2: Seems more files downloaded when I let it try again over and over. Now it says I am missing LIBEAY32.dll and SLEAY32.dll.

try to create new bnet account right in worldserver.exe window

Ok did test it, some skills seems to work but like u said most of them deasnt even some basic ones such as charge! demon hunter is almost unplayable u cant even change his spec,
hope to see this private server complete and with at least most of skills working one day :)

im geting a error. i have a new computer runing windows 10 64 bit .... last time i made / ran a privet sever i had a windows 7 64 bit i never had any probloms with this as i have with this pc .. sucks.. ok now on to y iv posted this im geting manu errors tring to start the bnestsever and the worldsever ... i have got all the erros as this far but now im stuck on this one (0xc000007b) and any 1 help me with it? the appliction was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). click OK to cloes the appliction. now note the errors i got b4 this whays about the libeay32.dll and the ssleay32.dll i downloded them plasing them in the repack . and now all im geting is the (0xc000007b) error .. any thouts on how i should try and fix this .. p.s. sorry for the bad speling or gramer i spell what i can how i can im dislexick sorry i know some pl think its not a good rezan for it but ha its me:) thank you for your time and any help i get have a nice day :)

there is a problem with LEGION-MMOPro.exe and 64 version, it does need internet and work only with wireless connection only somehow... anyway to fix it to not to require a net???

So when i downloaded the repack i tried to Open Bnetserver and when i started it said i needed "msvcp140.dll ssleay32.dll vcruntime140.dll and libeay32.dll" So i download them and then i tried to start bnetserver again it just said "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

I hope anyone can help me with this probem'

Hi,

The download and install instructions are very good, although the site is very slow.

When you try to launch the client for the first time, it can crash saying it cannot connect, just try again, and it updates in the background.

I can consistently crash worldserver.exe talking with Grundel Harkin the armourer in Anvilmar, Coldridge valley starting zone for Dwarf Paladin.

Also, the repack comes with two files that are now no longer required in the _Server/mysql/data/characters directory, the two table definitions for character_templates which have been moved to the world database by trinitycore.

The repack is quite well done, however there are problems with the trinitycore base.

I tried to report a bug to trinitycore once, and would never dare do so again, they are rude and condescending, with very little empathy or patience.

There are crash dumps and text for the crashes that I could give to someone if they wanted.

Thanks to MMOpro.org for the repack, however with consistent crashing of the most basic of NPCs, I think this still has years to go before it can be used for anything but walking around.

Thanks for your hard work. Human starting zones are glitchy but playable (had to use some GM commands to finish quests), but it's nice to replay some WoW after a long time of being away from it.
