Short Description:

Character Transfers! 12x PvE/PvP [3.1.3], Instant 80 PvP [3.1.3], Events, Bots, Teleporter, AntiCheat, Working Spells/Talents/Battlegrounds/Arenas, Scripted Instances, Ventrilo, IRC, Trinity Emulator, Real Developers! Join now (we have cookies)!Long Description:

Here at Cosmos WoW you can expect a helpful and supportive community, built upon a stable and functional core and network.

If you're used to retail, then look no further: this is as close as it gets to perfection. Not only that, we even try to be better — We aim to make your experience here to be as enjoyable as possible, with real custom content, such as NPCbots (http://www.cosmoswow.net/index.php?topic=367) to help you level, Playerbots (http://www.cosmoswow.net/index.php?topic=367) to make multi-boxing and raiding easier, Teleporters to make travel easier, Transfers (http://www.cosmoswow.net/index.php?topic=339) to make your transition here easier, Level changers to make twinking easier, and keep classic content relevant, custom mazes and custom game events...

If you're used to ArcEmu, Aspire, or Ascent-based servers, you're in for a surprise. We use Trinity here, and I promise, you'll feel like you've switched to retail, it's such a huge improvement over what you're used to. Scripted instances, working content, and constantly updated talents and spells are the standard here, not the exception!

But don't just take my word for it, join our IRC Chat (http://qchat.rizon.net/?channels=#CosmosWoW) and ask the people playing on our realms right now!

Trying to convince people to make videos of the server.. here's one I made:

No offence but you need to spruce up your presentation a little. It looks like a wall of text at first glance.

and upgrading to 3.2.x would gather you more members

What would you suggest? People were asking me tons of questions before when I provided less info ("What are bots?" "What makes them so special?" "What makes your server so different?")

I'm fairly certain the plan for TrinityCore2 is to officially upgrade to 3.2 when MaNGOS does. Or at least, that was the last I had heard about it. I'm kind of reluctant to use the TrinityCore2 3.2 fork from Machiavelli, as he hasn't updated it in over 3 weeks.

By the way, in case you weren't aware, I'm a TrinityCore2 dev :P http://cia.vc/stats/author/maximius

Eh, MaNGoS is 3.2, btw :P
And what's the difference between MaNGoS and Trinity?

Those PlayerBots/NPCBots are really nice. I tried scripting that back in Antrix days, but gave up after a while.

I wasn't aware MaNGOS was on 3.2. Are you sure you're not referring to someone's private fork? I've been the one merging MaNGOS commits lately, and I haven't seen anything like this in the master fork...

Also, thanks. I've been the one maintaining those bots for the past month now, put a lot of work into them :P

I think you should just use ArcEmu or FrostEmu.

ArcEmu - Better than MaNGOS IMO.
FrostEmu - More stable than ArcEmu and a bit more commands.
