Other problem the authserver.exe when I run it.

The missing dll means that you need to install OpenSSL [http://www.openssl.org] (http://www.openssl.org)

The authserver probably isn't working because you don't have it [OpenSSL] installed. The best thing to do in a situation like that is to run Command Prompt under Accessories in the Windows menu, and run authserver through that, that way the window won't close when the program has run and you'll be able to see the exact error message.

What is the command prompt?

When I want to check the tables with my mysqlyog program I cant see anything the tables are empty :D

Well then the dll should be located in your OpenSSL installation's root directory so just copy it to the servers folder ["c:\Program Files\OpenSSL-Win64" for me]

You can also access command prompt by typing 'cmd' in windows search.

Given that I don't actually have this server it's hard to diagnose, if you already have MySQL installed and the server has it's own stand alone version they will conflict with each other [ie if you didn't manually install the database yourself].
In which case you need to type 'services.msc' in the windows search, find MySQL in the list, right click and choose stop. Then attempt to run it and see what happens. Otherwise I recommend googling something along the lines of 'MySQL error 1067' given that the solution may vary depending upon your circumstances.

It sounds like the problem isn't the username and password, it's not connecting to the database in the first place. So for some reason MySQL isn't being installed properly for the server to attach to. As I said in my case when I get this error it's usually due to the version of MySQL I already had installed, conflicting with the one included with the server.

Quite typically they have something like 'mysql_installservice.bat' in the mysql directory of the server, are you running this in the first place to install it?

Hi, it's been awhile since I've dabbled with my server. When I say "awhile" I literally mean a long time. I've never done a repack before so I'm not sure where to begin. I'm using the 3.3.5a. I have the 4.3.4 client. I'm not sure where to begin with the repack. Do I need to compile all over again or is this repack plug and play?
