Put dawn of light launcher in wow folder .

Launch.

Mysql.
Authserver.
World server.
launch wow.

Logon admin.
Pass admin.

Db logon root pass ascent.

I am wondering how to fix the creature loot templates. I set the droprates high in the worldserver.conf but some of the loot tables are small. Is this by design?

Hey guys,

Great job with the repack, it looks fantastic!

I'm very new to this and it could have been covered previously, but i'm having trouble with my housemate connecting to my server via LAN. It gets to the server screen, shows the server, but when he clicks the server to connect, it comes up with getting server details and then remains on the server selection screen. I can connect fine, but he cannot, so i beleive it's something to do with MySQL settings or port forwarding. I'm unsure of MySQL and I've never used this before. I tried running the BAT file and it comes up with an error "access denied, please try running as a service"( this was run as administrator from the drop list)

A few things which I've tried;

- Port forwarding on the router
- Re-downloading MySQL
- Disabling all firewalls on router and my pc

I'm running windows 7 64bit.

I've never installed a private server before, so if there is some sort of comprehensive guide I could refer to, that would be very much appreciated.

Well if you are going with default settings, you are having the clients trying to connect to IP address 127.0.0.1 which won't fly if your flatmate is trying to connect to it. Without fiddling with too much, try installing hamachi on both systems, https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx . After that run hamachi on both systems. In Client window under network, create a new network on the host computer, then have the second computer put in the same info to connect to the VPN on their client. Next fire up MySQL via command in _Server folder. Connect to the database with your fav editor, I prefer HeidiSQL and there are those that swear by navicat. Under "auth" there should be a section for realmlist. Change this to the hamachi clients IPv4 address of the system that is hosting the server (5 .189.00.001) or whatever your number is. After that, edit the realmlist on each computer in the \World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\ folder and have it only say "set realmlist *your hamachi IPv4 address*" without quotes or asterisks. Once that is changed use a skyfire modded launcher to start the game. Add new accounts via command line in worldserver.exe with .account create $username $password. One handed typing with baby hope I covered it all.

MySQL sets itself up as an automatic server. Go to START>Run ant type services.msc. This will pop up running services. Find MySQL and set it to manual. After that, when trying to connect to your MySQL database via navicat or whatever maker sure credentials are correct. If not then you need to do some editing in your Skyfire server core worldserver.conf and authserver.conf. Ooh almost forgot authserver.conf needs to be cofigured with the hamachi number too! Under "BIND IP". Cheers. :p

I never us MySQL so that is why I have it set to manual so I have to start the service by launching the MySQL.bat in the _Server folder.

But then again looking at the repacks, I don't think we even need to install MySQL at all. _Server contains a mysql folder with all the executables and everything in it. Hrmmmm. Anyone have input on this?

Confirmed, sql install not needed. This repack is completely self contained. Once I confirm my transfered Hamachi server is working, I'll post the testing credentials so someone can try it out.

Run MySQL.bat, Run Auth server, Run world Server.
use patched launcher i'd recommend Hotfile.com: One click file hosting: Monster WoW.exe (http://hotfile.com/dl/116195514/6550820/Monster_WoW.exe.html) patched launcher. Easiest to find. Also, make sure your realmlist.wtf in the World of Warcraft/data/enUS(or whatever your language is)/ folder is set to say "set realmlist 127.0.0.1" (without quotes) and only that in there otherwise it won't work.

Now for bug reporting problem :
After I run Apache.bat I have this message :

Apache could not be started.

After that service stops.

Any idea what to change to fix it ?
Or someone can put fixed Apache server in the file

i need some help inserting items into the database. i'm using wow-v, and i download the SQL file that is for Trinity database. the first 20 columns or so matches up with the tables in the database, but when it gets to the column "dmg_min1" in the SQL file, that's when it doesn't line up with the database.
i'm looking at the table "item_template" right now. is there a different table i'm supposed to insert items in? this table doesn't even have a column for armor. :confused:

Hey there... I want to know, I updated my wow to 4.2.2... it won't login, the wow patcher (modified wow.exe) isn't 4.2.2 it's 4.0.6 13623 game build.
If I did something wrong please let me know, but as far as I know, this is a 4.0.6 repack.

hello, the first few hours i played this private server, it was great, not a thing wrong with it, but then on the goblin premade, i went to the jump event, after the first few tables, it crashed, i logged back onto him, but it crashed before i even saw the game, so i started playing the dwarf premade, i went to the mall in shatt, and again, he crashed and the samething happend when i try to log him,so, i make a new char. and they crash as soon as the loading screen finishes... when i do get a race that works, it crashes when i turn the camera, or try to fly, any ideas why? or how to fix this, i really like this repack

I'm not an expert but i believe the problem your having might be your computer restricting the usage on the process. Your computer or internet might be thinking its using too much memory because at spots the person who made the repack packed in stuff very tightly. Malls are an example where you have about 30 venders and about 12 big npcs around it which can be reduced easily.. Try starting your wow then hit atl + ctrl + del and go to processes and find wow.exe and set that to a high priority. This will allow it to use more CPU which might prevent a crash. Im not 100% sure this will work but its worth a shot. It might be the repack for you..

I too have tried to use this repack. I was able to get in and play for approximately an hour, went around and checked out dungeons and starting areas and the usual quick testing I've been doing. I was almost ready to delete my MMOFUSE 4.0.6 repack from Nevermore, as there is no support for that repack at this point, and then worldserver.exe crashed. I started it back up, everything was ok for about another hour and then crash again. I took about 2 hours off to watch a movie, came back and now if I try to log in, I either get stuck at the realm selection screen or if I do get in, my character can have no interaction with anything, no gm commands work, nothing at all. It's essentially unplayable now and I haven't done much except normalize the insane xp rates, character starting level, and realm type. This repack has a lot going for it as Achievements work, Mastery works, and many of the bugs in Nevermore's repack are not visible here. Unfortunately, the fact that I can't even log in anymore pretty much defeats this repacks validity.

Hi everybody. First sorry if my english isn`t very clear....there`s a long time since last time I use it.

I`m looking for this repack a few days. I search it in a lot of sites, forums, blogs....but always with megaupload links....but too many people talk about how it works, but anyone of all off those who take the huge work of Ikester to make his own private server put a new link to share it with all of us.....and for Ikester too...he lost all his works with the close of Megaupload. I`m so sad because I lost mi archives too and anyone of all of those people who download de repack, wants to lost an hour uploading the great job Ikester done....I really decepcionated....

This repack is a lie, it doesn't run on patch 4.2.2 and if it does then why isn't there t12 or season10 i got this repack working and tried looking up the items and they don't exist on that. Please don't say it has t12 and runs on 4.2.2 in the description if it doesn't. if i could i'd take away rep
