I understand that making rep is important and that on forums such as this site. You need to weed out the people that just want to come steal or bother the more experienced members. I get this!!!!, but trying to learn and ask question or send a private message to a person that is trying to help and it is denied seems a little over the top. I am very interested in learning and spent countless hours reading the posts and seem to be catching on< but am getting very near to quitting and saying screw it.... How many posts in general chat or introductions are going to get you rep or even assistance....

Dax i hear ya, and im much in the same boat - but dont give up man, you really are catching on, and unlike most new comers you came well equipped! you asked the right questions and gave enough circumstance information for others to be able to help you - keep to your guns and you'll get there man - I'm sure of it! your questions on getting your own server up and running, and the answers that were provided, have helped many others - i know, because i referenced the threads to guide them myself :D keep to it man - it works out in the long run!
